About the Whiskey:
The first Booker's release of 2026 is a tribute to New Orleans, one of Booker Noe's favorite cities. As his son, Fred Noe, tells it, Booker couldn't get enough of the local food, and it was the Lucky Dog street cart, not the fancy restaurants, that stole his heart.
The batch is made up of barrels from five production dates that were aged in five different warehouses. The breakdown of barrel storage for the Big Easy Batch is as follows:
16% came from the 3rd floor of 9-story warehouse H

16% came from the 5th floor of 7-story warehouse O
22% came from the 3rd floor of 9-story warehouse J
22% came from the 4th floor of 7-story warehouse M

Awards/Reviews:
93 Points - Whisky Advocate:
"This pays homage to New Orleans, which was one of Booker Noe’s favorite cities to visit. From the start, it’s a bourbon lover’s dream—a warming and well-spiced nose invites you back for more, where caramel, vanilla, raisin, confectionary sugar, strawberry jam, and dried fruit linger. The palate is searingly hot, but underneath that heat there’s a lot to love, including dark chocolate, barrel char, black coffee, and more dark dried fruit. Chocolate ganache, espresso, and truffle emerge on the finish, making this a big bourbon befitting the Big Easy." -Julia Higgins (Fall 2026)
A- - Drinkhacker:
"The palate finds the fruit this whiskey needs to keep itself upright, a mix of cherry, raisin, and tangerine that initially sets a lively, orchard-adjacent tone. The whiskey quickly warms and leans into all those spices, with aggressive tea leaf and ample notes of cloves dominating. Brown sugar, coming across like it’s still crystallized at times, keeps the level of sweetness fairly high, while the finish reprises those big black tea notes, complementing the sugar." -Christopher Null (Apr 2026)
Bourbon & Banter:
"This is neither a showy whiskey with cask-finished flavor vectors galore nor a particularly powerful pour. It's just honest, approachable, full-bodied bourbon, the kind that makes old school drinkers say, 'Now that's bourbon!'" -Steve Coomes (Apr 2026)
