Sourced from one of the oldest, most traditional vineyards planted in Valdeorras, Avancia Godello expresses the authenticity the history of Valdeorras and the oldest Godello clones in the world. A completely unique white wine that ages beautifully and has been recognized by Robert Parker as Spain's best Godello. Godello was almost extinct at the end of the 1980's, so it is extremely rare to find a Godello produced from a single vineyard planted in 1904.

Traditional dry farmed viticulture. Organic Gobelet trained vines. Cultivated completely by hand.

Ratings & Reviews

93 Points - Wine Enthusiast:
"This wine has a nose of peach, dried apricot and almond blossom. Stone fruit and floral flavors transition to the palate. Creamy mouthfeel, balanced acidity and a soft note of vanilla make for a nice finish." - Mike DeSimone (Jul 2023)

93 Points - James Suckling:
"This has notes of chalk, cream, apricots, grapefruit and salted almonds. Intense and delicious, with mineral, buttery and creamy elements all well integrated. Compact." (Apr 2023)

92 Points, #70 Top 100 Wines of 2022 - Wine Spectator:
"Sleek and well-knit, with a streak of salinity underscoring a creamy mesh of pink grapefruit, cherry blossom, Marcona almond and blood orange peel flavors that linger on the mouthwatering finish. Drink now through 2025. 3,000 cases made, 1,500 cases imported." - AN (Dec 2022)
