About the Winery:
Located on the historic Silverado Trail in Napa Valley’s Oak Knoll District, Black Stallion Estate Winery pays homage to the rich history of the 32-acre estate which was once home to the Silverado Equestrian Center. The property was purchased in 2010 by the Indelicato family, a fourth-generation family-owned company founded in 1924. Sourcing from the most prestigious vineyards, the winery is committed to
making only the most expressive wines.
Notes from the Winemaker:
The 2019 Limited Release Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is made from a blend of vineyards from across Napa Valley. A portion of grapes are from vineyards located in the high elevation mountains that surround the valley. These mountain top vineyards are known for creating wines with intense power and concentration. A large portion of this wine comes from the valley floor regions of Napa Valley, which help to balance and soften the texture of the complete blend.

93 Points - Decanter:
Aged for 18 months in French oak, of which 65% is new. Tight aromatically, offering subtle hints of red and black fruit, currants, sandalwood and dusty earth notes. Succulent mixed berry palate with pie spices, graphite and chalky tannins through the salty mineral finish. Has great potential and should open nicely with a year or two more in the bottle. (Drink between 2022-2032)

Notes of ripe black and blue fruit, violets and baking spices. Some chocolate, too. Full-bodied and dry with succulent fruit and firm tannins. Ripe, yet fresh and juicy. Soft and mellow with a fruity finish. Try in 2022.
