Notes from the Distillery:
Inspired by the turn of the century, when food was cooked on the open flame, this new bourbon is aged twice to create savory smoky notes and an exceptionally smooth finish. Bib & Tucker Double Char is first aged for six years in the rolling hills of Tennessee in new white American oak, followed by a minimum of five months in a second heavily charred and smoked new barrel. This unique fire-forged double char aging method creates the rich and deep flavor of Bib & Tucker Double Char.
- Aroma: A touch of smoke with immediate notes of toasted oak and dulce de leche, background notes of cinnamon and clove.
- Taste: Vanilla and sugar maple surrounded with white smoke, hints of sweet corn and toasted cinnamon.
- Finish: Medium to long finish with oak, white smoke and vanilla.

"The nose leads with toasted caramel, butterscotch, and baked apple pie. On the palate, the whiskey’s toasted sugar maple barrel finish shines through, with slightly burnt toast, caramelized sugar, and barbecue seasoning. The toasted flavors meld with the sweet baked goods, creating a rich and layered sip, with excellent evolution over time. The finish is dry and oaky, with barbecue roasting over charcoal and barrel char."
"The nose is very playful, with a healthy display of basil-kissed mint, apple cider, and peanuts. The palate starts off with caramelized apples and immediately jumps to bit of a game of hot potato of spice that bounces between rye, cinnamon, and white pepper. The spiciness overtakes the tongue for a good while but gives way just in time to soothing notes of vanilla wafer and banana to tame all that spice in the finish. There’s a lot of personality here at 88 proof." - Drinkhacker
"THIS IS A SMOKY SWEET BBQ IN A BOTTLE, WITH AN UNDERLYING SAVORY/MEATINESS AND A FAIR AMOUNT OF WOOD SPICE." - Inside Hook
