We sourced the majority of the Cabernet from Napa Valley's Rutherford, Calistoga and St. Helena appellations. The diverse soils and microclimates, as well as the various clones of Cabernet Sauvignon and cultivation techniques, contributed to this wine's complex flavor profile. The balance of the blend was grown both in our estate vineyards and other quality vineyards of Napa Valley.
Vintage:
Winter was warm and dry, with rain and cooler weather only arriving toward the end of March. A mild spring allowed for a promising early beginning to the season. Summer surprised us with cool mornings and warmer afternoons. As a result, the harvest produced smaller berries with concentrated flavors and remarkable acidity, creating excellent, balanced wines.
Blend: 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Syrah, 5% Malbec, 3% Petite Sirah, 2% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot
Oak Treatment: Aged 15 months in French and European oak barrels (30% new)

Focused and brilliant flavors of red and black cherries and black currants drive this sleek and powerful wine, as minty, toasty, and tobacco-like accents stay subtly in the background until the finish. A full body, medium to full tannins and good fruit acidity lend tangy freshness. Best from 2026
"A warm and generous wine with a sweet-seeming richness that makes it easy to sip without further aging. Full-bodied, laced with mostly red fruit, from strawberries to cherries, and with underlying blueberry, cocoa and creme de cassis notes.
