About the Whiskey
A multi-mashbill blend was created by combining full-bodied barrels with black cherry notes and oak-forward barrels with a nutty flavor profile. After these mingled, younger barrels with stone fruit and peppery highlights were added to the blend. Lastly, older barrels with notes of milk chocolate, cinnamon and pecans were carefully layered in. The result is an elegant bourbon that is opulent on the finish.

Tasting Notes:

Neat
Appearance: Honey Gold
Nose: It opens with sour Granny Smith, salted caramel, and fruity nuances of peach sun tea. Accents of honey, cardamom, and toffee round out the bright, fruity aroma.
Palate: Starts zesty with Curacao orange liqueur and candied ginger. Green cardamom adds brightness and slight whisper of anise. It evolves into rich layers of spiced orange, pine needles, banana, and dark chocolate, with a smooth honeyed finish.
Finish: Warming and lingering, with flavors of spiced pineapple upside-down cake, cocoa, orange zest, and toffee.
With a splash of spring water:
Notes of pound cake, whipped Chantilly cream, and candied orange peel appear and are balanced by hints of banana custard and toffee. Complexities of wormwood, pine and anise compliment the delicate flavors of orange cream soda.
Awards/Reviews:
Gold - NY World Spirits Competition 2024
90 Points - Whisky Advocate
"The nose opens up to luxurious notes of Rolo candy, a tantalizing hint of cherry, baking spice, and sweet orange. On the palate, it holds its proof well, with a velvety texture leading into flavors of dark chocolate, rasp- berry jam, raisins, a lick of anise, and more baking spice. The finish is a warm hug, with spice, bright citrus, and more deep, dark chocolate lingering on." - Julia Higgins (Winter 2025)
