Barrell Bourbon 12 Year French Oak Cask Finish is part of Barrell’s Cask Finish Series. The base is a blend of straight bourbons from Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, and Wyoming that have matured for 12 years, then receive a secondary maturation in carefully selected French oak casks with varying toast levels. This finishing step adds nuanced spice, nutty richness, and refined earthiness to the core bourbon character. 

Tasting Notes

• Nose: Ripe pear, pineapple, dried persimmon, cinnamon donut, pizzelle, hazelnut praline, and incense

• Palate: Allspice, nutmeg, clove, peppercorn, creamy vanilla layered over lavender, sage smoke, and sandalwood

• Finish: Coffee cake, blueberries, maraschino cherry, with undertones of graphite, olive oil pepperiness, and leathered oak
