Ripe cherry resonates through toasted oak highlighted by white flower, dill, and cinnamon. A rich, round mouthfeel bursts with fruit flavor leading to a one-of-a-kind sublime finish.

Gold - Ascot Awards 2024, 2023

"Big time cherry notes meet floral and baking spice vibes on the nose while big fruit notes bolstered with rye flavors flourish on the palate. Delicious and wow, what a lovely finish."

91 Points - Whisky Advocate

"An earthy and sweet nose of mixed berries, wet walnuts, black tea, Fruit Roll-Ups, and lemon pastilles. Water brings out a buttery quality that carries over to the palate, where chocolate, pistachio, banana bread, dried herbs, and hints of citrus are found. More nutty banana bread and chocolate orange on the mid-length finish."

"The sip starts with a sweet nose that has touches of grounded notes woven in. Moving into the midpoint, the palate is full of rich flavors, with figs and Bing cherries combining with various chocolate notes to form the highlight. This is a solid first in-house distilled rye for Bardstown. One that delivers a rich dynamic flavor profile and should please rye drinkers who go out of their way to track one down."

- Breaking Bourbon

"The aroma is cool and fresh with notes of wintergreen and cut grass. A unique, slightly smoky oak element, the cherrywood presumably, develops as things open in the glass. The palate is similarly cool and bright with notes of butterscotch pudding, lemon peel, and marshmallow fluff. A warming spice arrives in time and dissolves on the finish with notes of seasoned oak and green butter mints." - Drinkhacker (Grade: A-)
