Awards & Reviews:
Gold - SF World Spirits Competition 2024
Platinum - Ascot Awards 2024
"Crisp green apple and dried lemon peel on the nose with a floral note - like walking outside a perfume shop. The whiskey is popping with dried fruit and classic caramel flavors. Fabulous!"
93 Points - Intl Wine & Spirits Competition 2023
"Soft grain and oak aromas with earthy undertones. The palate has a bright sweetness with stewed orchard fruit and vanilla cream flavours. Hints of bitter chocolate and liquorice."
"A well-balanced bottled in bond wheated bourbon at a reasonable price, Bardstown Origin Series Bottled in Bond makes the transition from sourced whiskey to 100% in-house whiskey look easy. It does a nice job of leaning into its wheat component and pulls out sweeter and creamier notes along the way. Fans of the brand who have enjoyed their past products can appreciate the fact that this bottled in bond bottle provides for an easy sipping bourbon that lives up to the expectations set by bottles that laid the groundwork for the company to get to this point." - Breaking Bourbon
"The nose has an impressive depth to it with notes of leather, dark honey, warm cornbread, and buttery caramels. The palate is considerably bigger than the standard bourbon with rich notes of caramelized sugar, macaroons, and dark cocktail cherry. A bit of barrel char and seasoned oak keep things from skewing too sugary. The finish is well-spiced, simmering at length with fresh cracked pepper and cinnamon."

"Soft tones of digestive biscuits, slight maple and dark fruit syrup, along with a touch of cocoa. On the palate, soft and sweet with lovely notes of dried fruit (raisin or prune), a little red licorice, caramel, vanilla, plum and cocoa. Texturally, this is full and silky, making it feel pretty luxuriant." - Paste Magazine
