Distillery Notes:

Bardstown Bourbon 2026 Discovery blends three bourbons aged 7, 10 and 11 years, which were then rested for four months in garryana oak barrels. Each barrel was custom-made and hand-toasted for three hours by Oregon Barrel Works to unlock additional layers of spice and complexity. Summer aging was chosen for maximum extraction, and the whiskey was then gradually proofed before bottling.

Tasting Notes:

Layers of decadent, toasted oak are supported by burnt sugar and baked apple cobbler. The balance continues on the palate with dried cherry and cinnamon bark, leading to a long, warming finish accentuated by the rare garryana oak flavor.

Indiana - 10 Yr, 75% Corn / 21% Wheat / 4% Malted Barley

Kentucky - 11 Yr, 74% Corn / 18% Rye / 8% Malted Barley

Kentucky - 7 Yr, 74% Corn / 16% Rye / 10% Malted Barley

"The aroma is nicely balanced, with fruit leather, baking spices, brown sugar, and wood spice. Sweet flavors define the palate, with brown sugar and vanilla wafer up front, followed by an unusual orange flavored hard candy note. Nutmeg on the back end gives way to white pepper and clove at the start of the finish. Dried fruit, brown sugar, and a tasty gingerbread cookie note cap the sip off. An elegant, well-executed blend."
