Distillery Notes:

Our first-ever age-stated expression, bottled at 122.6 proof (61.3% ABV), has been aged for a cumulative 10 years in new American white oak and port wine barrels. It embodies patience, precision, and timeless craftsmanship.

October 2010 was meant to mark the debut of Angel’s Envy. But when our founder, Lincoln Henderson, felt the liquid was not ready, he chose to wait. That decision transformed 10/10 into a symbol of our commitment to craft and our promise to release only what is truly Worth the Envy. Today, the emblem lives on every cork and at Bar Ten/10 in our distillery, a lasting reminder of the legacy that defines Angel’s Envy.

At 122.6 proof (61.3% ABV), this spirit reveals its fullest character when savored neat after 15–20 minutes of rest. A few drops of water or a pour over ice invite new layers to unfold, offering a deeper exploration with every sip.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Sweet cinnamon toast and creamy fruit nougat, woven over a backbone of candied nuts.

Palate: Rich notes of baklava fade into ripe apricot, crème brulee, and cognac, spiced with a touch of grains of paradise.

Finish: The port cask influence builds gracefully, revealing notes of rum raisin cake while leaving a lingering invitation for another sip.

Awards/Reviews:

"Sweet dark berries lead off, accompanied by tart orange citrus. Confectionery flavors are also quite noticeable. While the dark berries are a consistent flavor throughout, the palate otherwise changes character midway—beginning with moderate sweetness but becoming increasingly dry and spicy. It’s a nice contrast to the richer flavors up front, and the dark berries linger on, reminding me that this is indeed a port cask–finished whiskey. Overall, there’s a recognizable Angel’s Envy port-finished character to this bourbon; however, it takes it so much further. Everything is turned up a notch—the richness and berries in the nose, as well as the dryness and spice in the finish. This is a very enjoyable pour, befitting of a cask strength limited release." - Bourbon Obsessed
