About the Wine:
This wine is recognizable by its golden, brilliant and clear colour. The pleasure starts with the very fine nose which evokes white flowers and exotic fruit, honey and vanilla. It carries on in the mouth where one discovers a full, generous wine whose roundness, suppleness and freshness express the very notion of harmony. It concludes on a mineral note which sharpens its complexity.

Tasting Note:
Pale yellow color. A bouquet of great finesse with subtle apricot and white peach scents.
The wine reveals its complexity on the palate: expressive, fleshy, delicate, fine and tannic. The finish lingers on nicely. This is a rich, smooth wine.

Ratings & Reviews

90-92 Points - Wine Advocate:

"The 2016 Nuits Saint-Georges 1er Cru Clos de l'Arlot Blanc was raised in 20% new oak. It has a well-defined bouquet with citrus lemon, Granny Smith apples and subtle tropical notes (peach and a hint of guava) joining the fray with time in the glass. The palate is well balanced with a lovely, harmonious, peach-tinged opening complemented by light apricot and fresh ginger notes. There is commendable concentration here, a fine bead of acidity with a precise finish. Excellent." - Neal Martin (Dec 2017)

91 Points - Wine Spectator:
"A plush, charming white, with soft orchard fruit flavors wrapped in toasty, vanilla-accented oak. This is backed by lively acidity and lingers, leaving a long, mouthwatering impression. Drink now through 2023. 100 cases made, 35 cases imported." - BS (Web Only - 2019)

88-91 Points - Allen Meadows' Burghound:
"A much fresher nose blends both floral and white orchard fruit with those of subtle spice nuances. There is excellent richness to the concentrated yet precise medium-bodied flavors that possess a seductive mouth feel while exhibiting a hint of minerality on the softly citrus-inflected finish."(Jun 2018)
