About This Wine:
A dry, flavorful Brut with a pleasant vein of acidity and complex fragrance, it is an excellent aperitif as well as versatile with light food such as grilled fish or vegetable pasta.

"Bosco di Gica" is the ancient name of the location where the family vineyards are grown. The origins of the grape and the production criteria are similar to those of the traitional Prosecco Spumante. The Brut is obviously dryer, even though it maintains the gentle character of the vine. Pleasantly acid and possessing a complex fragrance, it is an excellent aperitif, but also a versatile spumante complementing fish, shellfish and crustaceans. It should be served at 7° - 8°C. Long periods of refrigeration must be avoided, at this alters its qualities.

Ratings & Reviews

91 Points - Vinous Media:
"The NV Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Bosco di Gica punches well above its price point, boasting an intensely smoky and mineral expression on the nose that pulls you close to the glass. Beneath, I’m finding notes of pear and sweet herbal tones. It’s soothing and creamy yet balanced by brisk acids, as ripe orchard fruits satiate the senses, leaving a salty twang that resonates through the finale. Wow. This is a pleasure to taste." -Ian D'Agata (Dec 2020)

90 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The Adami NV Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Bosco di Gica Brut is tonic and tight with sharp aromas of lemon, green apple and crispy white peach. The wine is thin and bright with sharp, tiny beading that builds nicely to create pretty foam and lively effervescence. This is one of the most angular and linear of Franco Adami's terrific sparkling wines." - Monica Larner (Dec 2021)

Jeb Dunnuck:
"Mostly Glera, yet mixed with 3 to 5% Chardonnay, the NV Prosecco Superiore Brut Bosco Di Gica has a pretty, lively bouquet of apple blossom and citrus as well as a medium-bodied, balanced, lively style on the palate. It's a smoking value and as easy to drink as they come. Drink this uncomplicated yet well-made, balanced sparkler over the coming year or so." (6/24/2020)
