Notes From The Winemaker:

Since 1997, Miura has produced Talley Vineyard Chardonnay with consistent minerality, lemon-custard flavor profile and racy acidity from this cool vineyard site in the Arroyo Grande Valley. Whole cluster pressed, aged in Francois Freres “Allier” barrels (half new), fermented with native yeasts and bottled unfiltered.

"ACVS by Miura" is a partnership between Laurent Manrique, executive chef of San Francisco's famed seafood restaurant Aqua, and Emmanuel Kemiji, former Wine Director of the Ritz Carlton San Francisco, Master Sommelier-turned-vintner, who also produces wine under the Miura and Almvs labels.

The white-wine focused label was created in 2003 and has received numerous accolades for its wines, particularly its lush, flavorful Chardonnay. This 2006 vintage of Chardonnay, produced from the famed Talley Vineyard in Arroyo Grande in the Central Coast region of California, follows in the lineage of great wines under this label. It has all the characteristics of a full-bodied, rich Chardonnay with round tropical fruit, toasty flavors from the oak aging, an inspiring aroma, all completed by a lengthy, lingering finish that leaves a smile on your face and the desire for another sip. This is accomplished by its perfect balance created by the citrusy, lime acidity that counters the luxurious, creamy wine and cleans the palate for another taste. This wine delivers everything a true Chardonnay lover desires and more.
