About the Winery:
Hestan Vineyards was born from the culinary passion of Stanley Cheng and his wife, Helen. This husband and wife team has combined innovation and passion to create award winning wines. Stanley pioneered hard-anodized cookware in the 1970s and has continued to improve the ways we cook through innovations and he keeps that innovation going through his wines.

The Hestan and Meyer labels are the product of renowned winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown, with the philosophy that quality wine begins in the vineyard. The Stephanie wines are named for the owners’ daughter, a concert harpist. They are artfully crafted by winemaker Jeff Gaffner and offer a virtuoso expression of the site’s varietal composition. Jeff began his career at Chateau St. Jean working with legendary winemaker Richard Arrowood to produce the winery’s celebrated 1996 Cinq Cepages, named Wine of the Year by Wine Spectator Magazine. Over the years, Jeff has developed a reputation as a master-blender and specialist both in the vineyard and cellar. He has received critical acclaim for his site-expressive winemaking and signature elegant style.

Growing Season 2024
Described as dynamic and rich in flavor, the 2024 vintage captures the unique character of Napa Valley, blending boldness with elegance.
It was a textbook year for winemaking, yet it was also unusual for the numerous days of heat during the growing season. Key to the success of the vintage was heavy winter rain that set the vines up for success.
The winter rains saturated the soil and laid a foundation for healthy vegetative growth. The resulting natural shade canopy protected the crop through the expansive summertime heat from June through harvest.

Vinification
The fruit is picked at night and pressed in whole clusters while still cold. Fermented in stainless steel, it ages for six months in 50% stainless and 50% neutral French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes
This stunning Sauvignon Blanc is impressive for the purity of its citrus zest notes, lemon verbena and orange blossoms with hints of pineapple, Honeycrisp apple and litsea oil. Seamless and harmonious all the way through the long, impressive finish.

Ratings & Reviews

92 Points - James Suckling:
"A rich, full-bodied style with mouthwatering acidity and flavors of freshly squeezed lemon and green mango. Hints of lightly toasted brioche on the nose with a clean finish. Drink now." (Sep 2026)
