About the Whisky:

Mashbill: 75% unpeated Indian barley, 25% peated Scottish barley

Ageing: A blend of two four-year-old whiskies aged in ex-Bourbon American oak casks

Nose: Heavy, thickly oaked and complex: some curious barley-sugar notes here shrouded in soft smoke. Big, but seductively gentle, too.

Taste: The delivery, though controlled at first, is massive! That smoke on the nose turns into warming peat with a subtle sherry note, custard, oaky vanilla and barley with a beguiling fruitiness. The flavors develop into a really intense chocolate fudge middle which absolute resonates through the palate.

Finish: Dry peat and oak with a hint of molasses to balance the malt and spice for a satisfying end.

50% ABV

"A rich and complex nose with vanilla, spices, malt, and a hint of smoke. The palate is dry with lots of ripe red fruit and hints of marmalade, before a creamy, complex finish highlighting the wood character."

"Oh! This is fun. There's a ton of chocolate malted milk balls and with a floral underbelly that makes this whisky special. Delightful."

“Smoked meat, paprika, cumin, peppercorn, and star anise, amid fragrant smoke and maple bacon. The flavors are supremely fruity with tangerine, marmalade, lime zest, and pineapple juice. Among the fruit is a cascade of aromatic spices, before the interjection of a most compelling sour fruit note, and the smokiness takes charge. It's certainly no Islay mimic, this terrific Indian whisky demonstrates it has the courage of its own convictions.” - Whisky Advocate
