#3. 2017 SASSETTI BRUNELLO DI MONTALCINO DOCG

96 Points - Raffaele Vecchione:
Deep and extremely complex, it shows notes of black plums, blackberries, salted caramel, black tea leaves, camphor, mandarin peel, chinotto and Indian spices. Full body, round, fine-grained tannins and a juicy, smooth finish that closes gracefully and dynamically. Elegant and modern, it shows important workmanship in the difficult vintage. Better from 2022.

94 Points - James Suckling:
Black cherry and mushroom with some dried flower undertones. Full-bodied with fine velvety tannins and a juicy and succulent finish. The tannins are very polished for a 2017. Try from 2023 onwards.

93 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
The Sassetti Livio Pertimali 2017 Brunello di Montalcino is quite bright and lifted with cherries and fresh fruits that pop from the glass. The primary intensity is radiant in this wine, setting it apart from many of its peers. It covers the palate with mid-weight intensity, nice acidity and silky tannins. The brightness you get here is so attractive now, so I see little reason to wait much longer before pulling this cork. 2024-2035.

#4. 2021 Ramey Chardonnay Russian River Valley

95 Points - Wine Enthusiast:
Both agile and relaxed, this well balanced, vibrant and concentrated wine carries layers of crisp apple, pastry crust and lemon curd on snappy acidity that complements a fairly rich texture and medium body. Its creamy-tangy finish lingers a long time.

94 Points, #27 Top 100 Of 2023 - Wine Spectator:
This powerful version offers mouthwatering lemon curd, lime blossom and mandarin orange flavors that show notes of fresh-grated ginger and lemon verbena. Sea salt minerality gains momentum on the finish, where grace notes of toasted green tea, citrus zest and white pepper linger. Drink now through 2030. 7,176 cases made.
