Nestled in the rolling hills of Napa Valleys remote eastern slopes, Hestan Vineyards is a 56-acre tapestry of small, individually farmed blocks planted to the five principal red Bordeaux varietals. The winery's Stephanie Cabernet, named for the owner's daughter, a concert harpist is the virtuoso expression of the sites varietal composition. Each year, Stephanie winemaker Jeff Gaffner selects his favorite, most age-worthy lots for our Premiere Napa Valley offering. This particular Cabernet Sauvignon blend was co-fermented to take advantage of peak ripeness and maximize complexity. Living up to its name, Bravura sings with incredibly bold dark berry notes and chalky tannins that will only gain in harmony, depth and elegance with still another 12 months in French oak barrels.
