The 2019 Sinegal Cabernet Sauvignon is a carefully crafted wine produced from premium fruit off our estate property in addition to select vineyard sources throughout Napa Valley. This wine delivers exceptional power, class, and beauty; all hallmarks of Sinegal’s signature style. Aromas of ripe raspberry, licorice and mocha radiate from the glass, followed by subtle hints of brown sugar and baking spice. On the palate, there is a wonderful balance of fresh fruit, lush tannins, and a deep, lingering finish. Flavors of red cherry and plum jam are met with clove and sweet leather undertones. This polished wine is full of intensity, richness and style and is a superb example of a classic Napa Valley Cabernet. The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon will not only drink well in its youth but will also age with grace over time.

Ratings & Reviews
98 Points - Vinous:
"The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is every bit as magnificent as it was last year. A heady, statuesque wine, the 2019 captures all the pedigree of the vintage. Inky red cherry fruit, mocha, licorice and spice race across the palate. The 2019 is bright, deep and powerful, with exceptional balance and tons of class. It's a stunning wine, to say the least. The move towards a slightly less pushed style, with less overt oak signatures, has paid off big time. This is a fabulous showing. Drinking window: 2027 - 2039

My tasting at Sinegal was one of the highlights of the month I spent in Napa Valley. Winemaker Ryan Knoth simply crushed the vintage. In particular, the wines have all the opulence they showed a few years ago, when David Sinegal bought the property, but with an extra kick of energy that makes them so compelling. Readers on a budget will want to check out the Details Cabernet, which offers unreal quality for the money." -Antonio Galloni (9/21)
96 Points - Jeb Dunnuck:
"Starting with the base cuvée, this isn't far off the Reserve and offers a sensational bouquet of ripe red and black currant fruits as well as chocolate, smoked tobacco, spice box, dried flowers, and classy oak. Young, up-front, full-bodied, and perfectly balanced, it has incredible purity of fruit, the sweet, velvety tannins that are common in the vintage, no hard edges, and a great finish. This is one heck of a sexy, seamless 2019 that can be enjoyed any time over the coming 20-25 years. The blend is 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc, 6% Petit Verdot, 4% Malbec, and 3% Merlot, aged 20 months in 80% new French oak. Drink between 2022-2047." (5/4/22)
