Distillery Notes:
SINGLE SEASON, SINGLE DISTILLERY
This rare whiskey was bottled under the strict tenets of the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897. Aged in the temperate climate of the Northern California coast, the original distillate was altered only by the addition of pure water from the Russian River Valley aquifer. This is the purest expression of Redwood Empire’s craft.

"All manners of orange are here, with orange peel, Creamsicle, and a hint of orange soda right up front. This citrus is joined by sweeter elements: a drizzle of maple syrup and inviting wood spice. The palate is creamy, and that tangy, zesty citrus carries on, though there’s also blueberry cobbler, a burst of Red Hots, and buttered toast sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon. A moderate-length finish balances oak with tart red fruit." - Whisky Advocate
"The nose presents a mild, toffee sweetness with a leathery edge (almost like suede) and secondary notes of peanut shells and subtle orange peel. The palate is light and sweet with ample candied citrus, mild baking spice, and a bit of barrel char, leading to a pleasant, if slightly drying, conclusion showcasing rye spice and ripe peach." - Drinkhacker
"Restrained oak and baking spice aromas lead into a drying palate. Oak is framed with hints of grapefruit pith, plum skin and fruit leather, finishing with warming cinnamon and clove heat." - Wine Enthusiast
