About the Wine:
Renowned winemaker Pierre Ramonet established Domaine Ramonet in the 1930s in the Côte de Beaune region of Burgundy. Over the past 70 years, the iconic winery has expanded to include 15 hectares of prized Chardonnay vineyards, and has been passed down to Pierre’s two grandsons, Noël and Jean-Claude, who run the winery today. The exceptional quality and small production of Domaine Ramonet makes these wines sought after by wine connoisseurs the world over.

Clos Saint-Jean is considered to be the best vineyard in Chassagne-Montrachet for Pinot Noir, and Domaine Ramonet’s sizeable parcel within it produces one of the finest expressions the grape.

Ratings & Reviews

90 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The finest red in the cellar is the 2016 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos Saint-Jean (Rouge), a medium-bodied, fleshy wine with good concentration, juicy acids and supple tannin that bursts with smoky plum and cherry fruit." - William Kelley(4th Jan 2019)
