Ratings & Reviews
90 Points - Wine Enthusiast:
"This soft and pretty wine offers lovely suggestions of rose and lavender on the nose, leading into a rich texture of bright red cherry and blueberry. An oak kicker on the finish serves as reminder of the 50% new French oak used for aging." - VB (Mar 2015)
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"From the Russian River, the 2012 Pinot Noir Windsor Oaks reveals a dark garnet color, notes of Asian plum sauce, blackberries and cherries, and a soft, round, medium-bodied, fruit-forward personality. This cuvée spent time in 50% new French oak, but you would not know that from the lavish fruit and lack of spicy oak. It should drink well for 2-3 years given its forwardness." - Robert M. Parker, Jr. (Dec 2014)
