About the Wine:
Mischief and Mayhem is the result of a unique partnership between Michael and Fiona Ragg and Michael Twelftree, three great friends who share a passion for Burgundy wines . Michael Ragg was a successful wine merchant in the UK before moving with his wife Fiona to Burgundy. Twelftree is the owner of top Australian winery Two Hands Wines. With the Ragg's knowledge of the vineyards and commercial expertise coupled with Twelftree's winemaking skills they produce outstanding yet very accessible terroir-specific wines.
Hard work in the vines, terrific vintage conditions ,and superb Chardonnay vineyard sites with an average vine age of 40 years all combine to produce this classic Bourgogne Chardonnay. Beautiful purity of fruit along with light barrel treatment (15% new oak for the Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault sectors, which together comprise 20% of the wine) and élevage in stainless steel tanks integrate to produce a wine of real fruit character, minerality and purity.

Wine Notes:
Color: Bright pale straw with hints of green and a water white rim.

Aroma: Intense nose of great purity, with plenty of lime, lemon and pear fruit, along with hints of apricot, flint, barley sugar and white currant.

Taste: Lean, refreshing, and mineral with good intensity, ripeness, and acidic profile. Lemon notes and plenty of green apple fruit, along with hints of greengage, elderflower, mineral and delicate vanilla. The finish is lively, vibrant, long and pure.
