This has settled in nicely, as it still shows some muscle but is relenting to reveal more of the loganberry, açaí and mulberry core. Offers generous accents of enticing spices, black tea and apple wood in the background, with a pretty iron hint buried deeply on the finish. Sneaky long and refined. Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. Blind 2013 California Cabernet retrospective (February 2023). Drink now through 2036. 2,500 cases made.

It's dense with mouth-coating red fruit and a touch of sweetness from oak. As it unwinds, more developed graphite, black olive and dried herb accents come to life. Enjoy 2023–2030.
