Ratings & Reviews

89 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2014 Barbera d'Alba Scudetto was produced in reduced quantities because so much fruit was rejected in order to keep quality high in this difficult vintage. This is a dark and savory expression of Barbera with earthy tones of forest floor and bramble with dark fruit, cured meat and pencil shaving. The finish offers more savory flavors with distant touches of spice and smoked bacon. Scudetto is a fantasy name, although fruit does come from a single 1.5-hectare vineyard with loose, sandy soils.a" - Monica Larner (June 2017)
