About the winery:
Marc Bredif has been one of the most famous Vouvray and Chinon houses since 1893. When Baron de Ladoucette took over the house in 1980, he breathed new life into the century old winery, while preserving its traditions. The key to any de Ladoucette wine is quality in the vineyard, the winery and the bottle.

About the Wine:
This bright ruby red wine has intense, refined and fruity aromas. There are nuances of cherry, strawberry and spicy notes. In the mouth, it has a subtle attack and a fruity, light structure. There is a fresh and aromatic finish.

Ratings & Reviews

90 Points - Wine Spectator Magazine (2016 vintage):
"Light bay leaf, pepper and tobacco notes lead off, followed by lively cherry and damson plum fruit. Energetic acidity is well-embedded throughout, and everything pulls together nicely, with a tug of olive at the very end. Drink now through 2021. 513 cases imported." - JM (Mar 31, 2018)
