Notes from the Winemaker:
White wines produced in Medoc are rarely dry. White, fermented and aged for eight months in oak barrels, it has been a symbol of Loudenne since 1880.

It has good aging potential and its color becomes more golden with age. Its flavors change as well, bringing out woody and candied fruit notes.

Aging: 8 to 9 months. 33% new oak. 100% French oak from Bordeaux and Burgundy. Light toast. Aged on the lees, racked before bottling.

Blend: 70 to 75% Sauvignon (volume, crispness), 25 to 30% Semillon (structure and aging potential).

Tasting Notes

This highly complex wine is characterized by its pale yellow color with hints of green and its very expressive nose. Its strong attack is balanced with citrus flavors and it is also very full with a nice long finish.
Its fruity endnote brings out its flavors of peach, candied grape, and nuts.

"This is a thoroughly enjoyable Medoc white, with a juicy palate of fleshy nectarine and mineral touches. Drinking Window 2018 - 2025" - (08 Apr 2018)
