About the distillery:

The Bunnahabhain Distillery was founded in 1881 near Port Askaig on Islay. The village of Bunnahabhain was founded to house its workers. The distillery is owned by Distell. The Bunnahabhain is one of the milder single malt Islay whiskies available and its taste varies greatly from other spirits to be found on the island of Islay, off the west coast of Scotland.

Signatory Vintage Scotch is one of the most discerning independent bottlers of Scotch in the world. We bottle one cask at a time, capitalizing on the unique color and flavor characteristics of each individual cask. By sourcing all-natural malts from the best distilleries in Scotland, selecting the best single batches and bottling only the finest casks within those batches.

The resulting “single, single, single malt” is about as exclusive it gets.
