Unsurpassed in complexity of flavor, spices such as cinnamon, cardamom, anise and clove come through strong. As authentic as a brown leather chesterfield, you can whack this little pugilist in with any wood aged spirit.

Tasting Notes:
Bitter and tangy to the taste. Reminiscent of cinnamon, cardamom, anise and cloves, the aroma reminds one of gingerbread.

COCKTAIL RECOMMENDATIONS

OLD FASHIONED WHISKEY COCKTAIL
50 ml (1 1/2 oz) Rye or Bourbon Whiskey
10 ml (1/3 oz) Sugar Syrup (or 1 Sugar Cube)
2 dashes The Bitter Truth – Old Time Aromatic Bitters
Lemon Twist

Pour all ingredients in a tumbler & stir until it has the right dilution.

PISCO SOUR
50 ml (1 1/2 oz) Pisco
20 ml (2/3 oz) fresh Lemon Juice
10 ml (1/3 oz) Sugar Syrup
Egg White
1 dash The Bitter Truth – Old Time Aromatic Bitters

Shake with ice & strain into a sour glass. Put bitters on top.

EAST INDIA COCKTAIL
60 ml (2 oz) Brandy
10 ml (1/3 oz) Raspberry Syrup
1 tsp. Orange Curacao
1 tsp. Maraschino Liqueur
1 dash The Bitter Truth – Old Time Aromatic Bitters
Shake with ice & strain into a cocktail glass.

HORSE’S NECK
50 ml (1 1/2 oz) Bourbon Whiskey
2 dashes The Bitter Truth – Old Time Aromatic Bitters
Ginger Ale or Ginger Beer
Lemon Twist

Build in a longdrink glass on ice & stir.
