Notes from the Winemaker:
Yarra Valley Pinot Noir is such a cool cat. Its our bread and butter, our heart and soul. Its our hero wine out here, and we freaking love it. Subtle, perfumed. Just 100% totally drinkable and awesome.
Smells of: Cranberry, boysenberry, cherry and earthy dried spices
Tastes like: Velvety dark fruits, with soft savoury tannins
Wine making:
Above average winter rainfall replenished soils for the growing season, producing truly amazing, highly perfumed fruit.
100% hand-picked Yarra Valley fruit
Harvested Feb-March 2016
40% whole bunch fermented
Indigenous fermentation
Matured for 4 months in French oak
Drink now or cellar for up to 5 years but why wait?
