Notes from the Winemaker:
Winery owner Salvatore Ferragamo, heir of the storied Ferragamo fashion empire, replanted the family's Il Borro vineyard in 1999 and has been releasing Tuscan wines ever since. The winery has been certified organic since 2015.

Bolle di Borro is a classic rosé made with 100% Sangiovese grapes ripened for 60 months on yeasts. To produce this wine the company chose a specific Sangiovese vineyard because of its cool location, strong day-night temperature variations and slow maturation, bound to assure the product’s fresh aromas, balanced acidity and low sugar content.

The Bolle di Borro is onion-skin pink, a lively and brilliant old rosé with fine, persistent perlage denoting its long stay on the lees and its great quality. Direct, linear nose, a fresh, crisp fruitiness, small red berries blend with notes of candied citrus peel. Dry and full bodied on the palate.

To best savor Bolle di Borro, we suggest sipping it out of ample glasses at a temperature of about 10/12 degrees. It pairs perfectly with Tuscan cheeses, beef tartares and codfish with onions.

The 2011 Bolle di Borro Metodo Classico Brut is a Rosé sparkler made with Sangiovese. The wine opens to a pale pink color and exhibits aromas of white cherry and wild berry.
