In 1974, when A.H. Hirsch first imagined his now-legendary bourbon, he set the gold standard for thoughtful American whiskey, developing the now-legendary A.H. Hirsch 16-Year-Old Reserve, a whiskey that’s famously been called the “best bourbon you’ll never taste.” Today, bottles of A.H. Hirsch 16-Year can go for more than $12,000 in some retail stores.

HIRSCH, The Single Barrel Straight Bourbon Whiskey debuted in 2021 in honor of Bourbon Heritage. 

HIRSCH's Third Edition of The Single Barrel is aged in New American Oak barrels.

The expression consists of two mash bills:

70% - 4 Years/2 Months - 74% Corn, 18% Rye, 8% Malted Barley

30% - 5 Years/6 Months - 72% Corn, 13% Rye, 15% Malted Barley.

These two whiskeys were blended and then put back into the same barrel to mellow for a year.

​Tasting Notes:

The nose is nutty and spicy with notes of root beer and hints of tobacco.  On the palate, you'll taste cashew butter, sarsaparilla, and soft hints of stone fruit
