About the Winery:
Gulfi Carjcanti is an organic white wine made by the Gulfi winery in the DOC Sicilia with the Carricante and Albanello native varieties.

Gulfi has a fantastic expanse of land on the slopes of Etna, in the Ragusa region. These are vineyards that have been passed down from generation to generation to be able to make wines that fully represent the area they come from, without masking them through intervening in the winemaking process. To do this, they are committed to a biodynamic and ecological agriculture, which respects the terroir and its fruit.

The grapes used to make Gulfi Carjcanti come from 1.5 hectares of vineyards. These vines are planted on calcareous, medium clay soils, with a limited yield of 9,000 strains per hectare. The grapes are selected and harvested by hand when they reach optimum ripeness.

In the winery, the Gulfi Carjcanti grapes are vinified in stainless steel tanks and in 225 and 500 litre barrels. It then ages in both steel and wood for at least a year. Finally, it rests in the bottle for several months before being sold.

Gulfi Carjcanti is a great white wine from Sicily, with a pleasant texture, incredible freshness and an exquisite blend of aromas.
