The genesis of Trilogy, one of Napa Valley’s first Bordeaux-style red blends, dates back to 1984 when our family decided to make the best wine possible by selecting the highest quality wine lots culled from our estate vineyards in Napa Valley. Trilogy continues to be sourced exclusively from the Komes-Garvey estate vineyards, and in 2015 this iconic wine brings together Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Petit Verdot from St. Helena, Rutherford and Oakville.

Tasting Notes

Bold, rich and highly extracted, this generous red is packed with boysenberry, black cherry, dark plum and black currant layered with milk chocolate, vanilla bean, cola and a hint of earthy cedar. Seasoned French and American oak adds just the right amount of toasty warmth, and the wine's tannins, while firm, are round and smooth. This is a decadent wine, almost Port-like in its abundant fruit, with an umami-like unctuousness that leads to a long, satisfying finish.
