Ratings & Reviews

97 Points - Jeb Dunnuck:
"I loved the 2017 Pinot Noir Hirsch Vineyard, the gem in the lineup. Ethereal notes of wild strawberries, kirsch, white flowers, and spice all flow to a medium-bodied, elegant, seamless effort that carries terrific intensity and depth yet stays weightless and vibrant. This is California Pinot Noir at its most perfumed, complex, and elegant. It’s already impossible to resist, but my money is on it evolving gracefully for at least 10-12 years." - Jeb Dunnuck (6/14/2019)

91+ Points - Vinous:

"The 2017 Pinot Noir Hirsch Vineyard is gentle and understated, but my impression is that it is also holding back a bit of its potential. Sweet red cherry, plum, blood orange, mint and dried flowers flesh out over time. I would give the Hirsch at least another year or two in bottle, as it really needs time to come together. " Antonio Galloni - (May 2019)

91 Points - Wine Spectator Magazine:
"Bright and tensile, with underbrush accents to the dried cherry, roasted plum and berry flavors. Crushed stone and flinty notes emerge on the firmly tannic finish. Drink now through 2023. 521 cases made." - KM (Issue Aug 31, 2019)
