Ratings & Reviews
91-93 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2018 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatieres was showing well, wafting from the glass with aromas of pear, citrus oil, nutmeg and warm pastry, followed by a medium to full-bodied, racy and nicely defined palate that's long and intense." - William Kelley (9th Jan 2020)
90-93 Points - Allen Meadows' Burghound:
"There is a whiff of the exotic in the form of pineapple wisps that combine with notes of acacia blossom and various white-fleshed fruit aromas. The lush and opulent yet relatively refined medium-bodied flavors possess slightly better mid-palate density, all wrapped in a youthfully austere but not quite as dry finale. This isn't classically styled but there's clearly more here." - (Jun 10, 2020)
89-91 Points - Vinous:
"The 2018 Puligny-Montrachet Les Folateres 1er Cru contains around two-thirds young vines and one-third 20- to 30-year-old vines. It has a pleasant green apple and orange pith bouquet, although it lacks the penetration of the 2017 tasted a year earlier. The palate is taut and fresh, with citrus lemon and a lovely saline note that defines the final half. Not an overly complex Folatieres, but it will give pleasure over the next decade, possibly more. " Neal Martin - (Jan 2020)
