Separately blended parcels of aged malt and grain whisky, each left to marry, then both parcels blended to marry again, then finished in Palo Cortado Sherry Casks, so rare and scarce that Scotch finished in these prized barrels are virtually unheard of!
Ageing: Fully matured in neutral oak, then rested for a year in Palo Cortado sherry casks
Nose: Saline and half-and-half, opening up to grass, green herbs and cherry pits. As it sets in the glass, a tiny whiff of smoke emerges: smoldering straw and brown sugar.
Palate: Vanilla extract on the approach, and a silky mouthfeel. Ripe cherry blooms across the mid-palate
Finish: Long, warming and silky smooth
