Notes from the Winemaker:

Christophe Cordier is a 3rd generation vigneron in southern Burgundy's Maconnais. The domaine was established in 1968 in the village of Fuisse. Christophe works with uncompromising standards - rarely seen in the region. He farms 30 hectares in clay and limestone soils, spread over 100 individual parcels and nine villages. He bottles 22 cuvees for Domaine Cordier and 10 for Christophe Cordier, a boutique negociant firm only sourcing grapes from the best old-vine parcels. 18 of his holdings are situated in top climats, with 10 in AOC Pouilly-Fuisse.

Ratings & Reviews

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The 2012 Bourgogne Blanc Vieilles Vignes has a rather conservative bouquet with pleasant fresh pear and bruised apple scents, although I would have preferred more vigor. The palate is well-balanced with a crisp thread of acidity, touches of bitter lemon just enlivening the finish. This is a satisfactory, if not compelling, Bourgogne Blanc." - Neal Martin (Oct 2014)

Wine Spectator:
"Candied apple, clove and nutmeg notes mark this straightforward white. Drink now. 500 cases imported." - BS (Web Only - 2014)
