Notes from the Winemaker:
Primary aromas of Honeydew melon, Meyer lemon zest and peach blossom with bright notes of Granny Smith apple, spearmint and fresh cut hay. On the palate, limeade, lemon meringue and Pippin apple intertwine with notes of brioche, honey and chamomile flowers. The addition of 9% Semillon, along with judicious barrel fermentation and frequent lees stirring, create beautiful texture and depth, with bright acidity and chalky minerality providing precision and balance on the long, lively finish.

VINEYARD & BLENDING NOTES:
Five contrasting vineyard sources and three distinct fermentation vessels provide a breadth of nuanced lots that create layers of complexity once blending is complete. Slow, low-temperature fermentations with regular lees stirring develops complexity, texture and depth. The component wines are assembled in varying proportions to achieve a final blend that wires richness with vibrancy and a complex array of aromas and flavors

92 Points - The Wine Independent:
The 2022 Sauvignon Blanc, with 13% Semillon in the blend, comes 80% from Napa and 20% from Sonoma and was bottled in March. It leaps from the glass with bold notes of juicy pears, lemon curd, and green apples followed by wafts of elderflower and dill seed. The full-bodied palate is filled with bright pear and citrus-inspired flavors with a lively backbone and compelling oiliness to the texture, finishing long and zesty.

The 2022 Sauvignon Blanc is a great example of the variety (although there's 13% Semillon) and has a bright, racy style as well as textbook lemon and lime fruit, some minty herb nuances, medium-bodied richness, and good overall concentration. It's going to be incredibly versatile on the dinner table.

The 2022 Sauvignon Blanc is quite attractive. Citrus peel, white flowers, sage and chalk lend notable brightness. A dollop of Sémillon adds mid-palate richness. This is a beautifully balanced, impeccable dry white from Hourglass. -AG
