Ratings & Reviews

92 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
The organic Conterno Fantino 2021 Langhe Nebbiolo Ginestrino has a spicy note of white pepper along with cassis and blue flower. This is an easy expression of Nebbiolo that succeeds both in terms of balance and varietal intensity. There is a hint of sweet cinnamon on the close.

92 Points - Vinous:
The 2021 Langhe Nebbiolo Ginestrino is a blend of young vine fruit from the estate's four core holdings, plus Munie and a touch from Ornati, which is just outside the Barolo appellation. Medium in body and gracious, the Langhe Nebbiolo is just gorgeous. Bright acids perk up a core of red Nebbiolo fruit, crushed rose petal, mint and orange zest. (Drink between 2022-2031)

90 Points - James Suckling:
Ripe, red-fruited character with spiced citrus peel, cinnamon and dried flowers. Medium-bodied, dry and chalky with a vivid and fluid red berry palate. Flavorful finish.
