Notes from the Distiller:
The vintages embody celebration: a personal event that arouses emotions and echoes at the heart of life, a birth, a wedding, a success, a shared moment of happiness.
These Celebration vintages are a unique range selection of rare vintages that are aged 15 to 50 years old. Chateau de Laubade only releases its vintages after 15 years of ageing in oak casks from Gascony.
Is currently the only Armagnac house in France which coopers its own barrels to ensure quality.
A unique blend of Estate grown Baco, Colombard and Ugni Blanc grapes that changes annually with each harvest.
Ratings and Reviews
The aroma gives off buttery/fat scents of roast pork and cream. The palate entry is assertive, moderately chewy and nutty; the midpalate stage owns a keen astringency that undercuts much of the pleasing fat nuttiness found in the entry. Concludes uninteresting, totally dry and only mildly nutty. - P.P.
