Ratings & Reviews

95+ points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The full-bodied 2015 Saint Joseph les Granits is among the top wines of the appellation. Bursting with cassis, mocha and spice, it boasts a rich, creamy texture on the mid-palate, easing into a velvety finish backed by plentiful, powerful tannins. This may seem almost approachable, but patience will be rewarded." - Joe Czerwinski (Dec 2017)

95 points - Wine Spectator Magazine:
"Features lovely high-pitched streaks of lavender and white pepper throughout, while the core of steeped cherry and plum fruit waits in reserve. A long, refined mineral edge drives the finish, adding energy and cut. Best from 2020 through 2030. 407 cases made." - JM (Aug 2018)

92 points - Antonio Galloni's Vinous Media:
"Deep vivid ruby. Intense black raspberry, cherry cola and violet aromas are complicated by suggestions of licorice, mocha and exotic Indian spices. Lively and incisive on the palate, offering sweet, mineral-laced red and dark berry and spicecake flavors that deepen and spread out slowly on the back half. Blends power and finesse with a deft hand and finishes impressively long and spicy, with velvety tannins coming in late." - Josh Raynolds (Apr 2018)
