Notes from the Winemaker:
A fresh, flavored sparkling wine made from Prosecco grapes gathered in the vineyards of the Conegliano DOC zone in North-East Italy. The house of Carpenè Malvoti has been famous for this wine for over 135 years. It is ideal as an aperitif or with dessert.
VINIFICATION AND AGING: This medium dry sparkling wine is made with the Charmat method, a process discovered by Antonio Carpene and Louis Pasteur, which allows a sparkling wine to be made in approximately three months. This process limits the influence of the yeast and places emphasis on the fruit.
Brilliant straw yellow with fine, persistent perlage, fruity aromas of peach, apple, pear and citrus fruit, the palate gracefully balances zingy acidity and a subtle hint of sweetness, richness and silky-smooth texture.
Best served at 8-10 C (46.4-50 F); a delectable aperitif, the classic Prosecco versatility also makes it a fine accompaniment to the entire meal, particularly fish-based first courses, cray, caviar, prawns, & sturgeon.
LONGEVITY: The wine's enduring fragrance and freshness can be enjoyed for several years
