We select our finest vineyards, harvest our grapes at its optimal maduration level. A refined care through the entire process, rested in selected barrels for elegance and refinement, followed by the necessary time of bottle ageing for you to enjoy at its best.
About the Wine:
The Miros de Ribera Crianza 2019 is made predominantly from Tempranillo grapes, the emblematic variety of Ribera del Duero, complemented by a small percentage of other authorized varieties that add complexity and depth. The grapes come from carefully selected vineyards located at altitudes between 700 and 900 meters above sea level, ensuring slow and balanced ripening, favored by the region's continental climate.
This Crianza displays an intense cherry red color with ruby highlights. On the nose, it offers a complex and seductive bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and raspberries, intertwined with hints of vanilla, sweet spices, and a subtle smoky aroma derived from its 12-month aging in French and American oak barrels.
On the palate, the Miros de Ribera Crianza 2019 is structured and well-balanced. The tannins are soft and velvety, blending perfectly with the wine's lively acidity. The red fruit flavors blend with nuances of chocolate, licorice, and a mineral touch, lending it an elegant complexity. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a pleasant and harmonious sensation that invites continued enjoyment.
Ratings and Reviews
92 Points - Wine Enthusiast:
"Aromas of brambly fruits of the wood, red plum and tobacco leaf set the stage for blackberry, black plum, clove, licorice, dark chocolate and dried thyme flavors. Tannins come on strong and drift away into a smooth finish marked with a whiff of violet." – Mike DeSimone (Oct 2023)
91 Points -James Suckling:
"Blueberries, espresso, cedar, dark plums and vanilla on the nose. Full-bodied, compact and inky, with firm tannins and excellent structure. Savory and meaty at the end. Better in 2024." (Apr 2023)
90 Points - Wine Spectator:
"Boasts brambly black raspberry, boysenberry and black cherry fruit that's ripe and juicy, with an overtone of fresh earth and accents of cured tobacco and spices. Offers a core of firm, though plush, tannins and balsamico acidity, all well-knit and harmonious. Drink now through 2029. 9,500 cases made, 2,000 cases imported." – Alison Napjus (Oct 2023)
