Ratings & Reviews

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"I have been a big fan of these wines from high on the slopes of the Savoie region for a number of years. This particular cuvee, made from Chignin Bergeron (the name for the region the Rhone Valley calls Roussanne), exhibits a more cool climate style of Roussanne than one sees in the southern Rhone Valley. It reveals rose petal and honeyed marmalade notes but they are more delicate and subtle. This dry, medium-bodied white offers lots of fruit and more minerality than one usually sees in southern versions of Roussanne. Drink it during its first several years of life. It should be perfect if served with the region's local trout." - Robert M. Parker, Jr. (Feb 2014)

Wine Spectator:
"Plump, with creamed peach, apricot and persimmon notes, exhibiting a soft, easy finish. A touch shy on zip, but will have some fans. Drink now. 100 cases imported. - JM (Web Only - 2013)
