Dense, juicy, layered candied cherry fruit and blood orange notes are laced with those Asian spices. The tannins are plush and finely knit together, and the finish is long, earthy, and refreshing. During my tasting, winemaker Shane Finley reflected on what separates Convene from the days of Kosta Browne, and he said, 'The evolution of our winemaking is reflective of our own personal growth and personal tastes.
